moved items around categories & subcategories
renamed those items
copied items into categories & subcategories

thanks, didn't think of that. will try it.
but i have found behavior that wouldn't corespond to that reason, with it only
happening on specific things in construction mode.

the cursor, while constructing, becomes extremely slow. thereby basically
unusable


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start KIG
2. use the work area in any way(selecting, place objects)


OBSERVED RESULT
the visible cursor is moving in molasses  

EXPECTED RESULT
the cursor would be moving at the same rate as the cursor when not
"constructing"

SUMMARY
when launching the app and trying to type your name, it is unable to register
anything

Most likely has something to do with Wayland. 
Seems to have been present since march of 2020

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. launch app
2. try to type name in the box

OBSERVED RESULT
it doesn't register that you are typing
and then you can't log in

EXPECTED RESULT
that you ca type your name and log in

when trying to use keyboard shortcuts(both ctrl, alt and fn), it simply doesn't

the shortcuts are registered, and re-registering doesn't fix it
keyboard shortcuts works on other applications including other kde apps and the
desktop.
