I think what KDE does is the right thing. Usually, apps are designed to follow
the OS language and theme. If an app doesn't do this properly, it is something
to get fixed on the app.

And here (in Zeal), we are facing another issue which is the inability of the
app to handle the rendering of LTR text in RTL layout (and for sure the
opposite)

[korganizer] [Bug 429007] Presenting a 12 hour event like it is 15 min

2020-12-09 Thread ahangarha
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429007

Once more I experienced this issue. This time I tried to add event on 5th
January for 19:00-21:15 UTC (my timezone is +3:30)

Not only the event didn't render properly on screen but also I noticed (like
last time) that even after removing the event, korganize cannot get synced with
my NextCloud account.

I have removed the event but I could see it on Nextcloud calendar.

I will try it with a different calendar and see if I can reproduce it again.

As of now, on Kubuntu 20.04 which uses Kde Plasma 5.18.4, implementation of hot
corners is somehow detecting pressure. They wont get activated by moving mouse
to them but but putting little pressure.

I think if the same thing be implemented for panels would work.

[kdeconnect] [Bug 411715] Fail to pair

2019-09-29 Thread ahangarha
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411715

I have received many updates meanwhile for Android version of KDEConnect on
Fdroid. Currently I am running v1.13.2 on my phone. But still I cannot pair my
device.

I have also noticed I devices cannot detect each other when I am connected
through phone hotspot. In this case I need to add IP manually. Yet, it doesn't
pair and I get same error message.

[kdenlive] [Bug 383538] New: No Menubar after fresh installation

2017-08-15 Thread ahangarha
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383538

Bug ID: 383538
Summary: No Menubar after fresh installation
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 17.04.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: User Interface
  Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
  Reporter: ahanga...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Using Kubuntu 17.04 64bit, just installed Kdenlive 17.04.3 using the custom PPA
suggested on the Kdenlive website. After the first execution of the app, I
noticed there was no Menubar.

I solved the problem by pressing Ctrl+M twice. First time, despite having
hidden menubar, I got a warning message about hiding the menubar! By pressing
the key combination again, I got the menubar back.
