https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427198 Bug ID: 427198 Summary: Occasional crash displaying large directories Product: konqueror Version: unspecified Platform: Manjaro OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: file list view Assignee: konq-b...@kde.org Reporter: jtap...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 132043 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=132043=edit Traceback (FWIW) SUMMARY Occasionally in Detailed list view mode (I don't use others so I don't know about those) when displaying a directory with many (>~ 100) files and subdirectories, Konqueror displays each file two (or occasionally three) times and then crashes on any attempt to open a file or to reload. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Navigate in a well-populated directory tree in Detailed list mode. Possible contributors: Sorting is by date newest first. There are several tabs in each of several windows on multiple desktops. OBSERVED RESULT All files and directories are listed twice. Any further operations (change directory, open file, reload ...) cause a crash. EXPECTED RESULT Files and directories should be displayed once only and operations should not result in a crash SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0 Qt Version: 5.15.0 Konqueror: 20.08.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Unfortunately it's a heisenbug so I can't give do this and it will happen recipe, but it's been happening once every day or two. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
