STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. open vpn connection to a window10 host
2. press alt-tab (switch windows)
3. thats it, it is unusable because the keyboard mapping is completely mixed
up.

OBSERVED RESULT
keyboard maping broken completely

EXPECTED RESULT
changes active window or does nothing

The offest ist 0 at position 0 in a line. with every x+1 the offset is +1, so
my cursors trails a black "snake" that getting longer the more away the cursor
is from position 0.
