Still happening to me on up-to-date openSUSE Tumbleweed (KF5 5.38.0, KDE
17.08.1).
There is a proposed patch attached to https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/53943 but
I haven't been able to test that.

akonadi_davgroupware_resource crashes everytime I add google's DAV calendar
using the still working old DAV endpoints which require "application password".
The DAV resource URL I'm using is:

I can confirm the existence of the bug.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open KMail.
2. Try to add the new mail identity.
3. Fill the required fields.
4. Save identity.
5. Observe how akonadi_davgroupware crashes
