Windows.

digiKam does not access the trash of your OS. It creates its own trash -
according to your log in folder /media/photos/.dtrash .
When you "delete" an image and go to the trash in digiKam, are the "deleted"
images listed there?

I could not figure out why digikam could not get access to trash and I am not
even quite sure which trash it wants access to. Is it trash on my NAS or
laptop? If it is trash on my laptop, I am wondering if digikam knows where
Ubuntus' trash is located in the file system.

Hi,

I tried the appimage, but haven't been able to test yet. Digikam does not show
any menues and it defaulted to scan my whole collection. This will take some
time, but I will report back when it is done and tested.

There is no explicit error message visible from the console trace...

Can you reproduce the problem using digiKam Linux AppImage bundle ? The last
bundle is available at this url:
