I've just created a new HTML gallery theme which generates pages using HTML5, CSS3, and UTF-8. Gilles has included this new theme in the digiKam 7.0.0 project, but in the meantime you can download it and use it with digiKam 6.x.y by visiting my project page on GitLab: https://gitlab.com/Bobulous/digikam-html5-gallery-theme Let me know what you think.
