New digiKam 5.7.0 are built with current implementation as pre-release bundles:

Windows.

The crash is exiv2 shared library.

Please report this crash as UPSTREAM in Exiv2 bugzilla. Don"t forget to attach
the backtrace and the image file for future investigation.
