While appimage 7.3 works well, appimage 7.4 does not start on Fedora:
$ ./digiKam-7.4.0-x86-64.appimage

WORKAROUND
It works however with the following command line:
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libssl.so.1.1:/usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.1.1
./digiKam-7.4.0-x86-64.appimage
SYSTEM
Fedora 35 (X, not Wayland)
