Bug ID: 396178 Summary: Content of mount-binded device is incorrect Product: dolphin Version: 18.04.2 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: panels: places Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: incompl...@aixon.co Target Milestone: --- Say you have an external USB HDD, on which there is partition /dev/sdx1 labeled "somelabel", and there is an folder named "foo" on this partition, if you: step 1: plugin the external device, click the "somelabel" device located under "Removable Devices" section in dolphin, to mount this partition (/dev/sdx1) on /run/media/username/somelabel step 2: drag /home/username/bar to the "Places" section in dolphin step 3: sudo mount --bind /run/media/username/somelabel/foo /home/username/bar, where bar is folder that is not on /dev/sdx1 step 4: click "bar" in the "Places" section step 5: click "somelabel" in the "Removable Devices" section step 6: close dolphin step 7: open dolphin again, and click "somelabel" in the "Removable Devices" section, you will see contents of /run/media/username/somelabel/foo, while contents of /run/media/username/somelabel are expected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
