I had several other continous errors and freezes when switching channels, like
below:
core input error: ES_OUT_SET_(GROUP_)PCR is called too late (pts_delay
increased to 300 ms)

I used VLC in the meantime; trying Kaffeine now, almost none of my channels can
be tuned anymore; only a few are working. I'll have to check that first. VLC is
still working, though.

Just noticed that vlc outputs the same line "Using G3DVL VDPAU Driver Shared
Library version 1.0 for hardware decoding" although video is set to OpenGL GLX
video output (XCB).

The problem appeared after my hardware upgrade (including a RX 480) and
operating system upgrade (openSUSE Tumbleweed). Had to go to Tumbleweed
