Bug ID: 469858 Summary: Classic and confined snap don't use the same 'hidden' files Classification: Applications Product: kate Version: 23.04.0 Platform: Snap OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: sessions Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: jryan.dani...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** I have moved from the confined snap to the classic snap. The keyboard shortcuts, external tools and sessions have reverted to a set-up from several months ago. I guess because the classic snap is not reading the information from the same place the confined snap was saving info to. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. ''' sudo snap refresh kate --classic''' 2. open kate via the terminal. OBSERVED RESULT The presented session information is from several months ago (when I refreshed to the confined snap). The external tools listed and the keyboard shortcuts appear to have reverted to that of several months ago as well. EXPECTED RESULT Kate initiates with the settings I was using most recently (i.e. before I refreshed to the classic snap). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu Sway 22.10 x86_64, 5.19.0-42-generic kernel (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
