Same problem. My PC can't see my phone anymore and my phone can't see my PC.
Used to work before.

Ports are open in firewall, checked that a dozen of times.
Restarting kdeconnectd doesn't change anything. Nor starting it manually.

What happened?

Same here, but killing the kdeconnect process on the computer fixed it
immediately.

In the terminal while having the kdeconnect GUI open (showing no devices)
ps aux: -> kvaks  74336  0.0  0.1 360032 50212 ?Sl   jan.17   0:26
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexec/kdeconnectd

then kill 74336 and my phone (and a few other devices) appeared in the other
window within a couple of seconds.

Same. Worked fine in Kubuntu 19.10, but after update to 20.04 the devices can't
detect each other. My mobile devices see each other, but none of them can't
detect PC or vice versa.

Worked for a time then after an update, it just stopped. No error messages. No
way of knowing what the problem may be. Entered IP address and Hostname of PC
on my local network, nothing changes. Complete removal and reinstallation do
nothing. I question why this even exists outside of beta testing.

Same problem for me.

It was working smoothly till some months ago, then after applying recent
updates on pc and android side, they do not recognize and pair each other.

Present versions are 1.3.3-2 on Debian 10.1 + Plasma 5.14.5, and 1.13.2 on
android 6.0.1

Same to me, in openSUSE Tumbleweed recently upgraded.

Neither, the android app and the desktop app are able to dectect each other.

Firewall service stopped. I can't figure how to check what happens.

Kubuntu 18.10 with last updates, last app version on Android.

Can not pair devices. Both see nothing.

Firtewall on PC disabled.

When trying to connect I can see on PC side that exist short connection to 1716
port by using next command:
sudo netstat -tnp | grep 1716

I can see open ports:
LANG=C netstat -tlnp | grep kdeconnect
(Not all processes could be identified, non-owned process info
will not be shown, you would have to be root to see it all.)
tcp6 0 0 :::1716 :::* LISTEN 8448/kdeconnectd

May be this is a reason? It listen only IPv6...
How it can be repaired?

I had the same issue. I could fix it by deleting the folder .config/kdeconnect/
and restart.
