The AppImage is an official distribute from the Kdenlive team and tested. Do
you have tested with the current Kdenlive AppImage, this to see if Ubuntu have

Mmh. I would give the AppImage a try as the release AppImage is made by the
Developer containing all needed dependencies. The Flatpak should work as well,
they are build automated by our build machine and is tested by the
