Bug ID: 451672 Summary: kdevelop exhausts memory loading Akonadi Product: kdevelop Version: unspecified Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: crash Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gjditchfi...@acm.org Target Milestone: --- kdevelop version 5.8.220770 (22.07.70) kdevelop is running in a KDE PIM docker image, fully updated. The host system is KDE Neon. About KDevelop says KDE Frameworks Version: 5.93.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 With as little running as possible, System Monitor in the host says 1 GiB of RAM and 3/4 GiB of swap is in use. I launch kdevelop which opens an empty session. I open Akonadi, which is a check-out of the Releases/22.04 branch. All 8 cpus run at 100%. Kdevelop's progress meter rises to 99% and stops. Meanwhile RAM use rises to 7.6 GiB (of 8), swap use rises to 12 GB (of 12), and kdevelop aborts. I have another kdevelop session with 4 open projects. Akonadi is the only project I have run into with this problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
