SUMMARY
When I try to debug a project I get a misleading error message:
You need gdb 7.0.0 or higher.
You are using: GNU gdb (Ubuntu 10.2-0ubuntu1~20.04~1) 10.2

It tells me that I need gdb 7.0.0 or higher but I have the gdb 10.2

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a new C++ project
2. Create a new launch configuration with the default profile
