"The closest thing to a keyboard "shortcut" to toggle these properties is to
assign a shortcut 2Layer Properties window, and use Alt-I, Alt-V, Alt-A, and
Alt-L, (...)"

I'm using 2.9.1, there's the default shortcut of F2 to bring that Layer
Properties window.
I use this to quickly rename a layer for not having to double click on it: F2,
Tab, Tab (to bring focus to the layer name text field), write layer name,
Enter.

Dear Nmaghufurusman, have you contacted foundat...@krita.org to get a quote for
this feature request? Given the size of the feature compared to stretch goals
in the kickstarter campaigns, the cost probably would be in the order of 1500
euros or so. That covers about two weeks of work, including design and testing.

There are about six hundred bugs and feature requests waiting to be
implemented: we are overloaded as it is. So, otherwise, this feature, no matter
how useful, will have to wait for someone to find enough spare time to
implement it as a volunteer. Or you could also, of course, implement it
yourself, or find another C++/Qt developer to implement it and submit it as a
patch.

That's not to say I don't recognize the usefulness of this feature: it's just
that there is too much work to do, and not enough time. If _I_ have any spare
time, which hasn't happened for two years, I will work on the flipbook feature,
because I need that myself, or would, if I had any time to for drawing.

I was just looking for shortcuts to toggle the various layer properties such as
visibility and alpha inheritance, I'm astonished it's not yet possible in 3.0.
One can set shortcuts to select Invisible Layers and Visible Layers (which IMO
are actions that are invoked much less often than toggling layer properties)

The closest thing to a keyboard "shortcut" to toggle these properties is to
assign a shortcut 2Layer Properties window, and use Alt-I, Alt-V, Alt-A, and
Alt-L, to toggle alpha inheritance, visibility, alpha lock, and lockedness,
respectively, then just close the window with the Esc.

If I may add more to this request: all the layer properties that work in this
on\off fashion should be available as customisable shortcuts that toggle the
state of the property.

For example:
- The pass-through mode of a Group Layer (pass-through\normal).
- The visibility mode of a layer (visible\non visible).
- The locked mode of a layer (locked\unlocked).

This way users that rely on changing these properties often can assign
shortcuts and save time.
