SUMMARY
Recently float images are loaded with linear gamma because the gamma has to be
handled with the lut manager,bug 288725, but now if you try to use integer
images with float images they have mismatched gamma, because png are not loaded
with linear gamma too

OBSERVED RESULT

when the float images have a usual 2.2 gamma value in the lut manager then
png,jpg images are too white
