Can confirm the quality of the line is greatly improved, however there still a
very few artifacts on the stroke, but very few.

It's much better line quality with the appimage binary.

Please try the appimage instead

Can confirm the artifacts don't appear under tablet Tester.

Also I'm using the Ubuntu sudo apt install command (Lubuntu 19.10).
