I cannot reproduce this issue on my development systems.
My guess would be an issue with your graphics driver. By default, KTouch uses
OpenGL to render its interface. This may lead to problems on certain
hardware/driver combinations.
You can try to run ktouch with:
QT_QUICK_BACKEND=software ktouch
to switch the graphics output method and avoid potential OpenGL issues.
