Created an account just to say:
-Thanks Andrew and Tino, saved the day, after I nearly tore my hair out
thinking somehow the new version of X (I just upgraded to Slackware 14.2) was
to blame.
-Thomas and Martin - wow, really? KDE has been so good for me, I never in my
wildest dreams thought it was KDE moving my konsole window over too far to the
left. And when I found it IS KDE, you guys are basically like "everyone else is
wrong, we're right, STFU!". Not very encouraging. I would really recommend you
make this an option in a new release.
In fact, I'll put my money where my mouth is: if the option to revert to the
"normal" behavior (snap to decoration) becomes an option in a future release
instead of having to install a KDE script (i.e. I can change it on any KDE
system I use out of the box), I'll donate 20 Euros to the KDE project. 30 if I
can get a tax deduction in the US :-)
