On kubuntu 16.04 with kde 5.8.7 put with ppa backport, it certainly does not
work: desktop grid, cube animation, presents windows but i know kwin does not
work anything. For example, the desktop grid does not activate with the quick
key or even with the sides of the screen. If I have to give commands from
terminal to give you more information tell me.
