I took the time to work with my Surface Pro 3 with plasma. With the tweak
export KWIN_COMPOSE=O2ES this crash usually happens within the first three
minutes or so after startup. When I start the system again it remains

Out of pure curiosity I would like to look if kwinft does better. Chances are
that it doesn't or makes it worse. You never know. But I wouldn't know how to
get kwinft on my Kubuntu machine. I was reading about it. It looks

With "tap-to-click" crashes I mean that you can move the cursor around with the
touchpad but that is the only thing you can do with is. Even starters in the
panel don't highlight if you hover over them. Also tap two fingers
