            Bug ID: 482351
Summary: Glitch/artifact on screen edge with fractional scaling
                    on Wayland
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: kwin
           Version: 6.0.0
          Platform: Arch Linux
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: wayland-generic
          Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: x...@outlook.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
On Wayland, if you apply fractional scaling by a percentage that does not fully
divide the screen resolution, then there will be 1px of artifact on the
right/bottom edges of the screen.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
E.g. I have an 2560x1600 monitor.
1. Open Display Settings.
2. Choose a fractional scaling percentage that doesn't fully divide the
resolution, i.e. 150% in my case.
3. Move windows around on the desktop.

OBSERVED RESULT
Observe that there is 1px of artifact on the bottom and right screen edge. It's
typically patterns from the wallpaper, but occasionally some windows' details
make it there as well.

EXPECTED RESULT
There is no artifact on the screen edge.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.0
