That is a blocker for me - I won't sensibly be able to choose to run sddm
wayland as the login manager unless the monitor can go into powersave - I hope
that sddm adoption might happen sooner rather than later in that

Maybe. I have a feeling that wouldn't be accepted in SDDM though, with SDDM
being independent of Plasma and all
