Hi, qpdfview have a black outline around highlight search and if this feature
could be ported to Okular will be very nice and I think it solves the problem

i don't think changing the color is the solution, adding a black outline to the
highlight should solve both the problems Victor and JC mention (i'd say)

I concur. Being able to change the color would also help people with visual
impairments. For me, it can be difficult to spot the yellow color on a white
background.
