            Bug ID: 425076
Summary: Print to File - can't print a specific page(s)
           Product: okular
           Version: 1.10.3
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: printing
          Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org
          Reporter: bingmyb...@btinternet.com
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
Print a PDF document to PDF does not allow you to print just a few selected
pages.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. run okular and load an existing PDF
2. Select print function
3. Choose Print to File (PDF)

OBSERVED RESULT
4. Only option allowed is to print complete file

EXPECTED RESULT
Be allowed to print a selection of pages to a PDF file.

The reason for wanting to do this is that i just received a PDF file containing
boarding passes for 2 people each separated by a blank page and i wanted to
split the file up and send the 2 people their own boarding passes and without
the blank pages.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
opensuse:tumbleweed:20200803
Qt: 5.15.0 KDE Frameworks: 5.72.0 - KDE Plasma: 5.19.4 - kwin 5.19.4
kmail2 5.14.3 (20.04.3) - akonadiserver 5.14.3 (20.04.3) - Kernel:
5.7.11-1-default -

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
If i leave the printer set to a physical printer, i can then select the pages i
want. If i then change the printer to "Print to File", it leaves the choices
intact but totally ignores it and prints the complete file to a new PDF. The
newly printed PDF exists on the disk with its new name but if you load it in
okular, it thinks its reading the original file as it shows the original name
in the title.
