            Bug ID: 360917
Summary: Number of windows in grouped task manager entries
                    obscures application icon
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.5.2
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Task Manager
          Assignee: h...@kde.org
          Reporter: roland_wi...@web.de
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org

Window groups in the task manager widget have a "2+" in a green circle
overprint the application icon. I find that irritating because most often I
look for the application I want to bring to the front by its icon. Sometimes I
spend multiple seconds sweeping over the list, not finding the application,
until I realize that its icon is behind the green circle.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have enough windows open to fill the task manager
2. Open a second instance or window of any application

As the string (which is for some reason white on light green an thus not well
readable) always displays "2+" it seems more like an indicator for a group.
This is pretty much space used for such a simple piece of information. Maybe
one could make this indicator less intrusive by replacing it with a differently
colored triangle in the upper right corner of the task manager entry or
something like this. A configurable indicator would be nice (with an option to
switch it off), but probably a bit overengineered. Anyway, it should not
obscure the application icon.
