Maybe because it requires kdeclarative 5.41 to work.

Duplicate, already fixed in plasma-desktop master

I do wonder why it was not submitted to the Plasma/5.11 branch, there is still
v5.11.5 planned.

Possibly, that's because folder view does not respond to a left-click, so it
wouldn't matter if the event did bubble.

I also see this on PCLinuxOS since upgrading to QT 5.10.0.

The behaviour is different from that described in bug 379635. It looks as if
the right-click event bubbles up in folder view so the icon's context menu is
immediately eclipsed by the folder view's context menu.

Left-clicking and using the context menu key still works correctly.
