Switching to Manjaro unstable is super easy, just do:
sudo pacman-mirrors --api --set-branch unstable
sudo pacman -Syyu
To go back to stable, use the same commands as above, but use "stable".

On Manjaro with Plasma 5.25.2 I can't reproduce this bug. Are there any other
reports from Kubuntu about it? If yes, this might be a packaging issue, if
not... well... something is off on your installation.
