Summary: No way to turn off transparency
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.21.0
          Platform: Archlinux Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Application Launcher (Kickoff)
          Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
          Reporter: bobofengl...@zoho.com
                CC: mikel5...@gmail.com, plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

2. look at it
3. no setting to turn off, or adjust transparency

OBSERVED RESULT
Kickoff is too transparent

EXPECTED RESULT
having a setting to make it more opaque, or turn off transparency altogether.

Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.79.0
Qt Version: 5.15.2
Kernel Version: 5.10.16-arch1-1
OS Type: 64-bit
Graphics Platform: X11
Processors: 4 × Intel® Core™ i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz
Memory: 31.3 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: GeForce GTX 1050/PCIe/SSE2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Thanks for all of the great work you do to make Plasma the best desktop of the
universe! Sorry, but my eyes are not what they used to be, and having anything
in the foreground transparent, rather than things in the background is an odd
choice: It should be the opposite way arround. IOW: when opening the
application launcher, I don't mind if everything else would become transparent,
but the launcher I am tring to use should be opaque, so everything in it is
clearly visible.
