Failed Close Animation in Application Launcher when "Show desktop" is invoked.

SUMMARY
This is an issue that I have detected several years ago.
When open Application Launcher and there are not minimized windows, the close
animation of Launcher is soft, as the open animation.

But when “Show desktop” command is invoking, after open Application Launcher,
the close animation is not soft when you click out the launcher; there is not
animation indeed.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open any window or windows.
2. Open Application Launcher and close (click in anywhere out the launcher).
The animation close is soft.
3. Active “Show desktop” command using widget panel or hot corner.
4. Open Application Launcher and close (click in anywhere out the launcher).

OBSERVED RESULT
When Show Desktop command is invoked, there is not close animation in launcher
when you click out the launcher. Only works when you click again in icon panel
launcher.

EXPECTED RESULT
Close animation when you click out the launcher, in any moment.
