Still cannot reproduce the issue when making Firefox a favorite, right-clicking
on it, and choosing "New Window".
Have you by any chance manually disabled the systemd boot feature? If you don't

Well just learned something else after I made my post and tried fiddling with
something. If I use the right click menu to open a recent file that works as
intended can still interact with the task manager and

The issue exists on both X11 and Wayland for me after I reported it when I had
some more time I dug into what I was experiencing a bit more. The issue is ONLY
for the "Favorites" part of the Application Menu
