Bug ID: 448995 Summary: colours appearance may not update until you select something else Product: systemsettings Version: 5.23.5 Platform: Slackware Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: dchme...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In systemsettings->appearance->colours (and maybe others) after selecting and applying, it doesn't update the colours for a very long time (over a minute) unless you select something else (such as plasma style) then immediately says it's not applied yet, asks to apply a second time, does it, then lets you do something else. If you wait, it takes much longer than if you select something else STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Go to systemsettings->appearance->colours 2. Change colours. 3. Wait or select other menu item like plasma style. OBSERVED RESULT For as long as I waited it never updated colours unless I select something else (like plasma style) then asks to apply a second time, finally does it, then I can make the second change. EXPECTED RESULT Should update colours as fast as it does if you choose a second setting, without having to choose that. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Slackware64 15RC3 / 5.23.5 KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.90.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Maybe this is affecting other menus in systemsettings. In earlier KDE, changing colours, even on my three monitors, would take five or 10 or maybe 15 seconds maximum. Now I've waited a minute, stopped waiting, and choose to change something else, then after asking a second time, it applies it immediately (if I selected colours, applied, immediately selected something else, applied a second time, it changes the colours much faster, actually.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
