Unfortunately I'm still seeing this with 5.25.3, on Arch Linux.

I installed Fedora Rawhide KDE (which is a development version of Fedora 37)
with KDE Plasma Version 5.25.2. The bug is fixed there.

Thank you for the information.

I don't know. It might be a packaging bug on them, or it might be a code bug on
us, or it might be a combination of the two. Needs more investigation if it
still happens to you with Plasma 5.25.

Do you mean I should file the bug to Fedora?

Well that's odd. It does look like the color scheme is being reset to its
default value by something.

I know there have been some issues in the past with the way Fedora KDE sets the
default global theme and color scheme and IIRC these are supposed to be fixed
in Plasma 5.25. Can you upgrade to that once Fedora KDE offers it, and see if
the issue is resolved? Thanks!

1. At start color scheme is Breeze Light.
$ grep -E 'ColorScheme|Theme' ~/.config/kdeglobals
ColorSchemeHash=dd1942b5e93c3bbb5d5263740caa393b95b49d23
2. Set color scheme to MyBreezeClassic
$ grep -E 'ColorScheme|Theme' ~/.config/kdeglobals
ColorScheme=MyBreezeClassic
ColorSchemeHash=dd1942b5e93c3bbb5d5263740caa393b95b49d23
3.reboot
ColorSchemeHash=3a0dffc6f944949b6555a8f2f61e0936532c8219
4.reboot
