Okay, good. It just looks like the same icon set (which just happens to have
all white outlines) is being used on all themes. Since the buttons are also
white in Breeze, they just don't show up.

Unfortunately Qt 5.11.3 is the latest available version in Fedora 29
repositories. The information in https://repology.org/project/qt5/badges seems
to be wrong.
