Hi since my first report I have discovered 2 hardware issues and have fixed
them, akonadi is beyond repair, I have installed 16.04 lts but I don't like it
and will go back to 14.04, thx for your reply, I did think the bug report place
here could be a support place, thx for clearing that up

In this case, mysql is failing to start, and the output suggests that your db

This could be because you hit a bug. It is also possible that this binary
or one of the libraries it was linked against is corrupt, improperly built,
or misconfigured. This error can also be caused by malfunctioning hardware.
We will try our best to scrape up some info that will hopefully help
diagnose the problem, but since we have already crashed,
something is definitely wrong and this may fail.

Bugzilla is not a support forum (where you can generally expect to get help).

If you want help, there are better places to get it, some are outlined here:
https://www.kde.org/support/

including (but not limited to):
irc chat
mailing lists
forums

Without more information we can't help you :)
Perhaps it's because you didn't start your computer ?:)
Perhaps it's because you don't have akonadi installed in your computer :)

it's very important to add more information as:
- which is the version ?
- What is the error in console when you use akonadictl start
- what is the error in log file
- etc.

So I think when you create a bug report you need to add more info.

Regards
