Your AppStream metadata seems to be broken. This was crash fixed in the last
stable release of AppStream.
Furthermore, this was crashing because it was failing to tell you that your
AppStream database is broken. I'd suggest you ask your distribution. You can
get information using the appstreamcli. A good first try would be to run "sudo
appstreamcli refresh --force" and see if anything breaks.
