If we want at least to support Plasma file dialog as native dialog, we need to
integrate the PlasmaIntegration plugin.

And this one explode again all the dependencies in all direction.

So for me this will be NO...

The easy solution in AppImage is to detect that digiKam run as a bundle and
disable the native file dialog integration as well.

yes, definitively, KIO and GTK dependencies are dropped while AppImage build.

There is a limit to bundle all. 

In all case KIO will never appears in the bundle. This do not work, or i
cannot/wont understand how it work. It's a waste of time. and seriously, i
don't know how packager do to build native RPMs without to break something.

This problem is known. The platform plugins for GTK and Plasma are not included
in the AppImage. I also do not know if it will be possible to integrate the
Plasma plugin. I think it will also have dependencies of KIO.
