It's possible that your menu definition in XML UI RC format is broken (do not
ask me why).
Rename ~/.local/share/kxmlgui5/digikam/digikamui5.rc as *..old, and try again.

I still can't find the "Print Assistant" link in digikam 6.0.0, but went to
ShowFoto and that worked OK.
