Bug ID: 392706 Summary: Image preview predictably fails for half-uploaded images but then doesn't address the problem later Product: dolphin Version: 17.12.2 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: view-engine: general Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: bugh...@gluino.name Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 111812 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=111812&action=edit Example of failed previews If you upload an jpg image and Dolphin grabs it to generate a preview, it may stay "half gray" as the preview fails mid-way. This is not so bad, but Dolphin should be back later for a re-take on the preview - this does not happen (how do into explicitly telling Dolphin to redo the previews?) Fixing this would mean keeping a database about temporarily failed previews somewhere (a portable SQL database or something) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
