Well that's the problem; you're trying to apply multiple theme systems and
they're stomping all over one another.
Dolphin currently doesn't support manually or automatically entering "dark
mode" when run outside of Plasma. It will do this automatically within Plasma
though, since it respects the system's color scheme. But none of the methods
you're using are guaranteed to work, and offering support for them it out of
the scope of what's appropriate in a bug report, I'm afraid.
So let's use this bug report to request a manual color scheme switcher, which
many other KDE apps have at this point, and which can be useful when running
the app outside of Plasma.
