After a standard Linux Mint 18.3 KDE 64-bit install on Lenovo Carbon X1, could
retrieve photos from my camera with dolphin just fine, but now this stopped
working. Getting exactly the same error as described above. Any solution known?

KDE Plasma 5.8.9, KDE Frameworks 5.36.0, Qt Version 5.6.1, Kernel
4.15.0-29-generic, Dolphin Version 16.04.3
