When editing a text file, it would be nice if the user highlights a URL and
right click if there there was an option there to open the URL in the default
browser
e.g suppose the text file contained http://www.google.com
you would highlight the entire URL and then right click on it, on the popup
menu that comes up there should be an option to 'open the url in the default
browser'
