I'm running Fedora, tried both a compiled (21.04.2) and the repo version (v20.12.2), with a pxiel 4 on the latest update (RQ3A.210605.005). I'm interested in voice typing, and I have seen videos of this working online, but it does not work for me on my local installation. Even the backspace key in the voice typing UI does not work. I've tried all the options within GBoard, and as far as I can tell it seems to be related to the type of input in KDE Connect. Those key events then get interpreted by the text field to get the actual text. So this is not really a bug but rather how KDE Connect works. It might be possible to enable gesture typing, but that would require significant effort, so don't have any high hopes for that.
