On my system, I'm now using a cloned Breeze icon theme, into which I installed the updated icons, and wired that up to be my current Breeze icon theme. The reason is that any installed system Breeze takes precedence of any locally installed Breeze icon updates that come with Kdenlive in the hicolor branch.
