I can't reproduce on my device following those steps, but I also realize that I think the version numbers got transposed a bit there. Your device has version 24.05.2 (from 2024) - would you be able to try the current version of Okular, 25.04.0, probably using Flatpak (likely the easiest way to install that on Kubuntu)? I'm only asking as I'm not aware of Kubuntu versions that would provide Plasma 6.1.5 but Okular 25.04.0 out of the box, and wanted to make sure we were looking at the right version numbers :-) Would you possibly be able to either attach a PDF that shows the issue to this report, or link to it if it's on a public site?
