This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least
15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as
possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug

Hmm, after a complete system reboot, the old icon eventually vanished. So the
consequences of this bug are clearly temporary.

Before rebooting, the good icon would be show in the apps menu & dolphin, but
the bad icon in folder view. Disconnecting didn't make a difference but
rebooting apparently did, for some reason !
