[plasmashell] [Bug 463922] Multiple Instances of the 'Clipboard' Widget
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=463922 --- Comment #10 from Terry Coles --- Created attachment 155305 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=155305=edit Before and After files I have now got my desktop working again and in the attached .zip file I have include the two requested files from this machine instead of my laptop. In the directory 'Freshly_Booted' there are many instances of the Clipboard icon in the System Tray and one instance of the Clipboard in the Internet Activity. Also, the running instance of the 'Strawberry' music player appears in the 'Utilities' Activity instead of the 'Multimedia' one. Finally (and this is new), the 'Control Centre' widget is displaced on one of the Activities. In the directory 'Desktop_Cleaned' all this has been restored to the proper arrangement. You will see from the screenshot of the output of kdiff that there are very few changes resulting from the cleanup operation. I hope this helps. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 463922] Multiple Instances of the 'Clipboard' Widget
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=463922 Terry Coles changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|WAITINGFORINFO |REMIND --- Comment #5 from Terry Coles --- Since there had been no feedback on this, I decided to do a clean installation of 22.10 instead of relying on the upgrade that I did last year. When this was complete, I found exactly the same problem. I then decided to do another clean installation of 22.10; this time all on the same partition, instead of my usual setup of OS on sda and /home on sdb. This installed OK, but the same bug was apparent. This problem doesn't seem to be confined to the one system. I have now fallen back on my laptop which I rarely use these days, but is also at 22.10. It shows the same problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
