Jamie, I'm afraid you may have misunderstood how KDE works. There is no "head
developer". KDE is not a company with a hierarchy you can climb up until you
get to someone you can yell at.

There are companies in KDE's orbit you can probably hire to investigate and
resolve issues. A few can be found at https://ev.kde.org/consultants/. But KDE
itself is a volunteer community with no real hierarchy.

If you're not willing to pay for commercial support, your path forward is to
talk to the Debian folks about this. The version of Plasma Debian ships is
rather old, which means they're responsible for maintaining it and
troubleshooting issues reported in that version.

Best of luck getting the issue resolved.

i want the senior developer immediately.

You are extremely rude the person who sent me this email.

You need to be removed from your position now.

I am running the LATEST VERSION with Debian 13.4
which is what I said and that is 100% true!

The person that sent me this email is extremely rude I want
to make a formal complaint against the person who just
sent me this very rude email.

I am sick of dealing with rude people at KDE and you not even willing
to fix issues with your software and trying to pass the buck.

Get me the top developer there now!  I want to make a
complaint against the person who just sent me this rude
and threatening response.

Please watch your tone. You don't get to demand things.

 - Try to connect to the bluetooth device using hcitool, bypassing KDE. If this
fails, the problem is lower in the stack. It may provide more verbose output. I
very strongly suspect this will be the case.

 - The bot is absolutely right. Plasma 6.3 is unsupported by us. It's
considered old. Debian's policy is to report downstream. Should the hcitool
step above imply we do have a bug we would need it checked against a supported
version (6.6 or higher).

I want the head person there now this is an issue with KDE NOT debian!
this is an issue you have to fix t

I am sick of KDE trying to pass the buck and not fix bugs related to their
software. This is NOT a bug with Debian but an issue with KDE itself

Thank you for the bug report!

Debian advises users to not submit bugs upstream
(https://www.debian.org/Bugs/Reporting), and Plasma 6.3.6 is no longer eligible
for support or maintenance from KDE. It's possible that the issue exists only
in Debian at this point.

Could you report the bug to Debian using the report bug utility
(https://packages.debian.org/stable/utils/reportbug)? If necessary, the
maintainer of the package will forward the bug upstream.
Thanks for understanding!

Thanks again!
